Job Description
Position is based at the Oklee shop. Duties include, but not limited to, to grading and snowplowing assigned roadways with motor grader, repair and maintain all operating equipment, and keep roadway systems safe for traveling public all year round. Pay range $22.42-$29.16/hr. depending on experience includes a benefits package. This is a Union position with the I.U.O.E. Local No. 49. Maintain operating equipment valued over $150,000 so that it is available for use when needed. Perform maintenance activities necessary to ensure that the roadway systems are kept clear of snow and ice during the winter months. This position will mainly operate a motor grader. Perform maintenance activities necessary to ensure that the roadway systems are kept in a safe condition for the traveling public during the summer months. This position includes grading with a motor grader. Ensure that all county safety and administrative requirements are met so that records of work and material used are maintained. Perform maintenance activities as requested. Assist in installing new signing so that the safety and convenience of the motoring public is assured. Install temporary signing so that motoring public is aware of detours or construction areas in the county. Equal Opportunity Employer
