Job Overview:

Essel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will foster a safe and productive work environment, while effectively coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all aspects of construction projects from mobilization to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Coordinate daily construction activities and supervise onsite workforce.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to keep everyone informed of project status.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on project progress, safety incidents, and other relevant metrics.
  • Assist in the management of project budgets and forecasts.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and field workers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or supervision.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management or supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
