Production Operator

Production Operator Job Description As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the cradle-to-grave manufacturing of magnet wire products in our state-of-the-art 700 building. Your role will involve material handling of raw materials, operating and troubleshooting machines, and ensuring the quality of the production line. You will also document in-process updates and use equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts to manage finished products. Responsibilities Handle raw materials to prepare for production. Load the production line by feeding raw wire as required. Interpret specification sheets to set machines as needed. Operate and troubleshoot machines while monitoring production quality. Pull enamel samples and document in-process updates. Use overhead cranes to move finished wire spools. Operate forklifts to store finished products in the warehouse. Essential Skills General labor experience Machine operation Quality inspection Assembly Manufacturing Forklift certification Available Shifts & Pay 1st shift: 8am-8pm, on a 2/2/3 schedule 3rd shift: 8pm-8am, on a 2/2/3 schedule $20.40, with a $1.25 shift differential for the 3rd shift. Work Environment The new 700 building is temperature controlled and has a clean room-like environment ideal for producing regulated products for Japanese automotive clients. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
