We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team in Zanesville, Ohio. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated metal components using hand tools and appropriate welding techniques Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials Verify dimensions and tolerances of fabricated parts using calipers, rulers, levels, and other precision tools Ensure the quality, accuracy, and structural integrity of completed assemblies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA and company safety standards Communicate with supervisors regarding production status, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated metal components using hand tools and appropriate welding techniques Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials Verify dimensions and tolerances of fabricated parts using calipers, rulers, levels, and other precision tools Ensure the quality, accuracy, and structural integrity of completed assemblies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA and company safety standards Communicate with supervisors regarding production status, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Technical training or welding certifications preferred Minimum 2+ years of proven, hands-on experience in metal fabrication and welding Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings Skilled in MIG and TIG welding; Stick welding is a plus Familiar with metal fabrication tools, layout techniques, and equipment Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and craftsmanship Ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle the physical demands of the job High school diploma or equivalent required Technical training or welding certifications preferred Minimum 2+ years of proven, hands-on experience in metal fabrication and welding Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings Skilled in MIG and TIG welding; Stick welding is a plus Familiar with metal fabrication tools, layout techniques, and equipment Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and craftsmanship Ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle the physical demands of the job Preferred Certifications (a plus, but not required): AWS (American Welding Society) Certification Forklift or overhead crane certification OSHA 10 or 30-hour safety training AWS (American Welding Society) Certification Forklift or overhead crane certification OSHA 10 or 30-hour safety training Equal Opportunity Employer IND1 Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
