The Health & Human Performance group at Triton practices a human-centered approach to design and deliver end-user driven solutions to our customers. Through our work developing products that help people perform challenging jobs in extreme environments, we are focused on physiological monitoring, advanced wearables, trauma and field care medical devices, and novel human-machine interfaces including haptics. Responsibilities The successful candidate will report to a senior engineer in our Health & Human Performance Group and will support team efforts on multiple government and commercial contract R D programs Generate and/or follow test procedures, conduct and document experiments, and produce detailed and summary analyses of results Ideal candidate will want and have skills in a lab hands-on environment and enjoy prototyping and fabrication projects. Education & Skills BS/MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, (MS preferred) Preferred minor in Electrical, Computer Science, or physics 1-3 years of industry experience, not including internships, Co-Op or academic projects. Solid modeling skills and experience strongly preferred. Skills in FEA analysis is preferred Any electro-mechanical skills, Arduino, experience, robotics, PCB and/or soldering a plus. Strong fabrication techniques, prototype creation, test and measurement skills desired.
