What youll do
Our ideal candidate is not only experienced in civil engineering but also possesses a preference for tackling challenges in transportation, private development, stormwater or hydraulic modeling. Youll make crucial decisions independently, find innovative solutions and plan and coordinate projects. As a Senior Project Engineer, youll make independent decisions and will thrive under pressure. Youll also:

• Plan and coordinate work.
• Apply standard engineering practices and techniques.
• Adjust and correlate data.
• Recognize discrepancies and follow standard procedures.
• Build relationships with clients and prospective clients.
• Work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Oversee diverse professionals.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities.
• Give clear instructions.
• Act as a coach and mentor
• Have leadership skills that build autonomy.

What it takes
Ideally, youll have a bachelors or masters degree in civil engineering. If you have eight or more years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm, we want to talk. You should be a licensed professional engineer. Ideally, you will also:

• Speak and write well.
• Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Be a team player.
