CAZ is hiring a Lead Carpenter with at least 5 years of experience in residential construction to run projects and work in the field. High end finish work a plus. The work includes kitchen and bath remodels, new construction, and renovations.
Duties
Create a safe, professional work environment for team members, clients and the public.
Interact with customers in a polite, professional manner.
Perform all aspects of carpentry from framing to finish.
Work with project manager to complete jobs as assigned.
Supervise apprentice crew members.
Safely and efficiently use power tools including chop saws, drills, table saws, and hand tools.
Lift, carry, and push heavy items (up to 60 pounds).
Assist other team members as needed.
Safely drive a company truck through narrow, hilly residential streets.
Maintain accurate paperwork.
Carry out written and verbal instructions.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience needed:
At least 5 years of carpentry experience including running jobs
Valid, insurable drivers license
Strong record of jobsite safety, happy clients and great communication
Safety certifications are a plus (competent person, OSHA 40, first aid, etc)
Pay
$35 to $45 per hour DOE. Four-day work week. 5 weeks PTO. Employer-paid health insurance. Employer-matched retirement program.
