SUMMARY
The Operational Experience Portfolio is responsible for providing world-class logistics systems for our global staff. The Portfolio Architect is responsible for providing architectural clarity in support of business needs including aligning with enterprise strategic direction. There are approximately 30 agile teams within the portfolio, many aligned with agile release trains (ARTs). As a technical leader you provide direction within the portfolio and collaborate with enterprise, portfolio, system architects across the network. This is a crucial role that supports the modernization of our systems into cloud architecture, facilitating the migration of critical legacy systems that are essential for generating revenue for the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborating with the Enterprise, Portfolio, and System Architects to contribute to, understand and support the strategic technical direction
- Communicating the strategic technical direction to OXP portfolio as needed and formally as we hold Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) ceremonies for planning program increments
- Collaborating with agile teams and portfolio management to provide a high-level, all-inclusive vision of solutions and development initiatives
- Expertise in various cloud native technologies and experience in modernizing legacy technologies
- Understanding and communicating strategic themes, and other key business drivers for architecture, to system architects and nontechnical stakeholders
- Understand the architecture of all systems and address conflicting or divergent approaches
- Promoting continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps capabilities
- Facilitating the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns
- Coach and lead system architects and identify training opportunities
- Create and implement strategies for technology adoption across the portfolio
This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- MS Computer Science or related degree
- Experience in technical roles such as engineer, architect, or technical leadership positions in software development (10+ years of experience)
- Designing, implementing, and supporting environments using cloud infrastructure technologies ideally in Azure
- Demonstrated transformation from OnPrem using Cobol or similar languages to cloud Azure or other public cloud environments
- Thrives in a fast-moving multi-context environment
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and execution capabilities
- Familiarity with a variety of technology stacks
- Experienced problem solver, strong collaborator and able to provide clarity around complex topics
- Assertive personality, interpersonal, action and outcome driven leadership
- Ability to promote autonomy, mastery and purpose, through empowerment and creating leaders
