**Job Description**

In this position, you will assist with truck maintenance, construction rental equipment, and customer equipment repairs. The ideal candidate will have small engine knowledge and welding experience, specifically with MIG welding on truck beds. This role involves a lot of independent work, requiring someone who can manage their own day effectively.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assist in truck maintenance and repairs.

+ Handle construction rental equipment maintenance.

+ Perform customer equipment repairs.

+ Conduct MIG welding on truck beds.

+ Work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently.

**Essential Skills**

+ 2+ years of welding experience.

+ 2+ years of small engine maintenance experience.

+ Proficiency in MIG welding.

+ Understanding of blueprints and fabrication processes.

+ Knowledge of automotive repair.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in the construction industry (1+ years preferred but not required).

+ Familiarity with TIG welding and working with stainless steel.

**Work Environment**

Work in a non-climate controlled shop from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed shoes, and work-appropriate attire.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
