- Organize and maintain the scheduling management system for project s.
- Assist in setting up tasks and sub-tasks to meet project contract requirements.
- Log project timelines and maintain the P6 database of tasks and their status.
- Input new information into the P6 database and provide scheduled reports for contract coordination and reporting.
- Interact with project staff and stakeholders to schedule work and coordinate assignments.
- Design and develop project schedules.
- Collaborate with project teams and contractors to define the scope of work and update detailed schedules.
- Identify variances from the original plan and evaluate project schedule progress and performance.
- Analyze critical paths and constraints to determine the effect of changes to the schedule and recommend alternative work paths.
- Develop and update weekly schedules in collaboration with superintendents, field engineers, and project managers.
- Support the project management team in maintaining effective change management processes.
- Assist in developing and maintaining periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress.
- Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.
- A minimum of a High School Education is required.
- Candidates with an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree will be considered favorably.
- Knowledge of Schedule Quality practices in regards to P6 schedules is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Project Gating procedures is advantageous.
- Prior experience in Gas & Electric Distribution and Transmission project s is a plus.
- PMP or other PMI certification is beneficial but not required.
- PSP, CST, or other AACEI certification is beneficial but not required.
