- Lead day-to-day site supervision and coordination of all construction phases.
- Study and understand contract drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and client standards to grasp design and client requirements.
- Schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries to maintain project timelines.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure compliance with client standards.
- Ensure subcontractors execute their contracted scopes of work effectively.
- Coordinate required inspections with local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ).
- Manage job site safety programs and identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
- Maintain project documentation, including daily logs and 3-week look-ahead schedules.
- Conduct subcontractor meetings and address field conflicts.
- Manage site cleanliness and organization.
- Lead job progress and closeout punch list processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Promote a culture of safety, diversity, and inclusion across the jobsite.
- Experience with Procore and MS Projects.
- 5+ years of experience as a lead superintendent on heavy mechanical and electrical scope projects.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in mission-critical environments.
- Preferred 5 years of experience in mission-critical construction as a superintendent.
- Vocational/technical training in construction preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading plans, specifications, and schedules.
- OSHA-10 certification required within 30 days of hire (OSHA-30 and First Aid/CPR preferred).
- Valid driver's license required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
