- Project Analysis & Planning: Review proposals, blueprints, and specifications to identify labor, material, and time requirements; resolve discrepancies through analysis.
- Document & Quality Control: Ensure accuracy and quality of all PDF documents shared with the project team.
- Team & Contractor Coordination: Communicate effectively with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth coordination.
- Project Execution & Monitoring: Manage daily operations, assign responsibilities, and maintain work sequences to meet project schedules.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project progress against goals, budgets, and timelines; report variances and create action plans.
- Change Management: Implement change control processes, assess requests, secure approvals, and issue change orders.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Project Management and Estimating.
- Proficiency in estimation software such as Accubid and Procore or similar construction software.
- Experience in project management for industrial, commercial, and automotive construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
- Prior experience in construction management, bidding, commercial and industrial construction.
- Familiarity with mechanical estimating, preconstruction, and blueprint analysis.
This position requires flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time for project management and site visits. You will frequently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer. The role involves walking over rough and uneven surfaces at job sites, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and possibly being exposed to various weather conditions and loud noise levels at job sites. Communication with employees and customers is frequent and essential.
