Construction Superintendent
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent with extensive experience in managing construction sites with budgets over 5 million. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience, and demonstrate expertise in working with General Contractors, Construction Management, and Design-Build projects. Knowledge of MEP systems and an OSHA 30 certification are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly walk the site to observe progress, ensure quality, and address the needs of team members and trade partners.
  • Provide a calm and confident presence, offering direction and encouragement, especially during chaotic situations.
  • Maintain detailed field logs, manpower tracking, and daily reports to ensure nothing is overlooked.
  • Coordinate and prepare for state and local inspections.
  • Ensure the jobsite is safe, clean, and professional at all times.
  • Support punch list preparation throughout the project.
Essential Skills
  • 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent managing jobsites with budgets over 5 million.
  • Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with General Contractors, Construction Management, and Design-Build.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Skills in construction management, ground-up projects, blueprint reading, field management, and subcontractor management.
  • Proficiency in construction supervision, design-build, subcontract management, building envelope, and MEP systems.
Work Environment

The position requires onsite presence on projects across Delaware, Eastern Maryland, and Pennsylvania. You will be working for a family-owned General Contractor with over 100 years of business experience, known for stability and a strong backlog of work extending into the end of 2026. The company prides itself on its performance and offers a supportive and engaging work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
