Overview This Senior Civil Engineer leads technical design and QA/QC practices across a broad spectrum of civil infrastructure projectsfrom land development and stormwater to highways and utilities. You'll perform detailed design reviews, guide technical teams, and implement rigorous QA/QC checklists, ensuring accuracy and constructability. In addition, this position will be involved in leading and conducting designs and reports as required. Key Responsibilities Perform technical design and plan reviews: grading, drainage, utilities, erosion control, roadway geometry, stormwater systems. Apply QA/QC processeschecklists, audits, corrective actionsacross firm deliverables . Mentor junior engineers, guiding technical development, design documentation, and software use. Coordinate with permitting agencies and support public hearings through strong technical presentations. May be asked to assist in submission of documents to regulatory agencies Introduce and standardize BIM, GIS, H&H modeling, and AI-assisted workflows in design QA. Contribute to design on complex projects as a subject-matter expert. May provide technical support during permitting and provide public testimony. Integrate AI technology as applicable. Qualifications Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (Master's ), PE licensure required. 8 years of diverse civil engineering experience Proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroStation, H&H modeling; familiarity with BIM/GIS. MicroStation a plus. Experienced in QA/QC: plan checking, error detection, root-cause analysis. Strong mentorship skills and excellent technical communication.
