Walbridge has an excellent opportunity for a Project Director to lead multiple Project Managers or Joint Venture Partners on projects from inception to project completion. The Project Director is responsible for all matters pertaining to the project and project execution and the project's safety, quality, schedule and financial goals.

Responsibilities

Ensure accountability to the client for team performance.

Mobilize to the job site as needed and oversee the project's commercial success until client acceptance.

Understand contract requirements and guide the Project Team accordingly.

Adhere to business and legal policies to mitigate risks.

Provide leadership from preconstruction through the warranty phase.

Familiarize with the As-Sold Scope of Work and Estimate.

Coordinate and manage necessary resources and tools for project execution.

Chair contract and project kick-off meetings with the team.

Communicate project objectives and align the team effectively.

Monitor team performance and ensure safety, quality, schedule, and financial goals are met.

Lead the project forecasting process.

Ensure adherence to HSE, security, and quality standards throughout the project.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience and training.

10+ years of domestic/international experience, including project management in contract-based companies.

Led projects worth $100M+, preferably in industrial/manufacturing sectors.

Broad knowledge of construction, engineering processes, procurement, project controls, and contract management.

Effective communicator with clients and project teams.Expected Attributes
