HB Rentals is currently seeking an Project Manager to join our team in Broussard, Louisiana. This position leads and manages projects from start to finish, ensures projects are completed on time and in budget while meeting all projects related specifications and regulatory obligations and certifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review project specific Scope of Works and work with operations to develop Bill of Materials for project.
- Establish Bill of materials (BOM) for each phase, work with buyer to ensure materials are ordered, quantities checked and deliveries are acceptable to operations team to meet timelines.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure material delivery schedules are on track and timelines met.
- Work with design team to ensure drawings are accurate and customer requests are implemented. Work with operations supervisors to ensure latest drawing revisions are being utilized on shop floor and older versions removed.
- Work with operations manager and operations supervisors to develop schedule of projects, communicate to team timelines and updates to customer.
- Work with material inventory to ensure accuracy of material carts pulled, compare to project BOM's.
Assign daily tasking to Inventory specialist & material coordinator/expeditor, review timesheets, ensure project priorities are effectively communicated to these positions.
- Note any deviations and record same so that budget and master BOM's can be updated accordingly.
- Complete quality control checks on final project deliverables. Ensure accuracy to drawings and functionality. Work with Operations Manager to ensure ABS/USCG paperwork is completed, signed, stamped and recorded properly.
- Monitor budgets of projects with applicable estimates, identify discrepancies and root causes, implement corrective action to eliminate overruns.
- Work with document control to develop and maintain accurate and completed data books for new construction projects and well as maintaining accurate data sheets for any regulatory submittals.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Five years' experience preferred.
- Ability to read documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Current driver's license and clean driving record
- Must pass a physical, agility testing, and drug and alcohol screen
