About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of a large-scale electrical transmission project. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role focused on ensuring safety, quality, environmental compliance, and production tracking across a multi-disciplinary construction site.
This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in utility-scale transmission, distribution, or substation projects who thrive in fast-paced, field-based environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary field liaison between contractors and the Construction Manager
- Enforce contractor safety plans and ensure environmental compliance (SWPPP, permits)
- Track daily production, material usage, and schedule adherence
- Conduct QA/QC documentation using platforms like Unifier
- Monitor contractor performance and escalate issues as needed
- Ensure compliance with road use agreements, haul routes, and crossing agreements
- Maintain accurate, independent reporting for internal use and potential change order disputes
- 5+ years of experience in electrical construction (Transmission, Distribution, or Substation)
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and QA/QC processes
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and schedules (e.g., Primavera P6)
- Experience with QA/QC documentation tools (e.g., Unifier)
- Ability to independently track and report production metrics
- Knowledge of environmental compliance standards (SWPPP, permits)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills in the field
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with utility-scale energy projects
- Familiarity with change order documentation and dispute resolution
- Exposure to crossing agreements and haul route logistics
