Senior Civil Engineer Contract Opportunity (Pittsburgh, PA)
On-site at client location | Contract Duration: 36 months
Per Diem: $184/day (7 days/week)

Are you a seasoned Civil Engineer with a passion for solving complex challenges in industrial environments? We're seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting projects across sectors like oil & gas, energy, food & beverage, renewables, and more.

In this role, youll lead civil design work on a variety of projects ranging from small-scale upgrades to large, multidiscipline redevelopments. You'll be part of a collaborative engineering team dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions safely, efficiently, and on time.

• Lead and execute civil/structural engineering tasks including site investigations, design bases, and structural analysis.

• Support projects involving repairs, new installations, redevelopments, and performance investigations.

• Use tools like RISA and RISA Foundation for structural modeling and design.

• Prepare detailed design sketches, calculations, reports, specifications, and quantity take-offs.

• Review and approve engineering drawings, conduct client meetings, and provide technical leadership.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations.

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering

• 10+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering (heavy industrial or glass industry experience a plus)

• Proficiency with structural analysis software and manual design calculations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members

• Experience with the full project lifecyclefrom preliminary design to commissioning

• Familiarity with HSE regulations and practices on construction sites

• PE licensure preferred (ability to stamp drawings)
