At PRICE ELECTRIC, Project Manager Assistants (PMAs) are valued Project Operations team members who contribute to and support the planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects in diverse work types (e.g., electrical group, traffic, underground utility). We're looking for a full-time PMA in Robins, IA to perform proactive, thorough project setup, documentation, task advancement, administrative assistance, meeting coordination and follow-up, and closeout completions and to foster professional customer and vendor relations.

Excellent communication and administration experience including basic accounting, proficient systems utilization, and proven ability to generate reports that provide useful insight into project details are needed. Working knowledge of construction processes is preferred.

Primary responsibilities include:

+ Reading and understanding contracts to accurately and timely enter and update job and customer information in all applicable software, including customer and project entries in ERP and scope, directory, specifications and drawings in CMS

+ Proactively gathering, completing and/or maintaining project documentation requirements such as RFIs, models, submittals, locations, linked items, and POs

+ Requesting and managing permits, COIs, bonds, etc.

+ Anticipating upcoming resource planning, scheduling and utilization, and financial management processes and needs and successfully assisting Project Management, including:

+ Assisting with material acquisition, handling, storage, and returns and gathering information and quotes for non-stock items

+ Assisting with change events, change orders, commitments, and project close outs

+ Updating SOV, cost codes, invoicing, T&M tickets and Payapp entries with guidance from PMs

+ Scheduling and documenting meetings and assisting with customer and project team communications

+ Completing project specific reporting per contract terms or as requested by Project Management

+ Assisting with interdepartmental coordination and department initiatives as needed
