Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team, specializing in the design of large commercial buildings. This role involves preparing reports, cost estimating, specification development, performing calculations, selecting equipment for specification, and preparing construction documents for bidding.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for large commercial buildings using Revit.
- Prepare detailed reports and cost estimates.
- Develop specifications and perform calculations for equipment selection.
- Prepare construction documents for bidding purposes.
- Perform site visits to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage project deadlines and collaborate effectively with clients and architects.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design and engineering.
- Ability to develop construction documents.
- Experience with lighting design.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- EIT certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in building design projects.
Work Environment
Our work environment operates on a hybrid model, with three days spent in the office and two days remote. The role is mostly design-heavy but requires site visits approximately 10% of the time, particularly for projects in the local DMV area. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
