Welder 1st Shift Job Description Under general supervision, you will saw, cut, weld, and fabricate parts to blueprint specifications using saws, buffers, torches, MIG (mixed inner gas), and Stick welding equipment. Additional tasks include buffing material to AMSI specifications utilizing portable equipment. Responsibilities Saw, cut, weld, and fabricate parts to blueprint specifications. Utilize saws, buffers, torches, MIG, and Stick welding equipment effectively. Buff materials to AMSI specifications using portable equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols accurately. Demonstrate a basic knowledge of metals, measuring tools, and steel fabrication. Operate hand and powered tools related to sawing, buffing, welding, and fabrication. Fabricate and weld materials in compliance with specifications. Essential Skills Proficiency in fabrication and welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. Basic knowledge of metals, measuring tools, and steel fabrication. Skill in operating hand and powered tools for sawing, buffing, welding, and fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in aluminum welding.
