Job Description Join our team at Dulles International Airport, where you'll service catering trucks and ensure they operate smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining and repairing medium-duty trucks, focusing on diesel engines and air brake systems. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on medium-duty trucks.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and air brake systems.
- Read and interpret schematics related to truck systems.
- Work on hydraulic systems, understanding their function and operation.
- Utilize electrical experience to diagnose and repair truck electrical issues.
- Conduct wiring diagnostics and troubleshoot check engine lights (drivability issues).
- Proficiency in preventive maintenance.
- Experience with hydraulic systems and diesel engines.
- Strong electrical skills and ability to diagnose electrical issues in trucks.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Valid driver's license.
- Capability to obtain an airport SIDA badge.
- Six years or more of diesel engine experience.
- Flexibility with shift scheduling.
