Essential Duties andResponsibilities (Including the following, however, additionalduties may apply as required) - Performs all tasks in a safe andresponsible manner - Read and comprehend welding instructions andstructural drawings - Verifies correct quantity and quality ofparts welded - Layout stitch welds; locations of weld and weld sizefor welders - Work from drawings, patterns, fixtures andspecifications - Layout and operate both fuel gas and plasma handtorches for fitting purposes - Move material using a forklift andcrane according to standard operating procedure, safety regulationsand practices - Assist with the welding of a Weldments - Performcleaning, assembly, and straightening operations as directed bySupervision - May be required to perform the following weldingprocesses: GMAW, Flux, Sub Arc, etc. - Ability to comply with allquality policies, specifications and instructions - Ability to cometo work on a consistent basis Requirements: Education andExperience - A minimum of two years (2) experience as an open tableFitter - High School diploma or equivalent preferred - Heavymanufacturing in a job shop environment a plus Physical DemandsAbility to move or transfer products with an overhead crane andforklift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required. Whileperforming the duties of the job, the employee is regularlyrequired to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Specificvision abilities required by this job include close vision,distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability toadjust focus.
