A midstream company in downtown Houston, Texas is looking for an electrical engineer to join their team. The engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical power, control, and instrumentation systems for the company's terminal and pipeline facilities. They will interface with project management and ensure projects are completed in a timely, efficient, and cost effective manor. Other responsibilities include:

* Create and review medium and low voltage One-Lines

* Create and review Motor Wiring Schematics

* Create and review Instrument Loop Drawings

* Create and review Control Panels Design and associated Bill of Materials.

* Review, Understand and Implement technical specifications, Engineering Standards, Construction Standards, and O&M Standards.

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

* Experience leading industrial plant projects within terminals, refineries, or chemical plants

* Experience working in design, selection, and requirements of low and medium voltage power equipment

* Ability to initiate design and planning of lighting systems, power distribution systems, motor control circuits, grounding, motor drives, instrumentation loops, Control Panels, Remote IO Panels and secondary systems (fire and gas alarm, dc circuits, etc.) *Experience with ETAP or any modeling software

*Background in liquid terminal or natural gas environment null
