Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator - Ladson, SC

We are g hiring a Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator. This position isresponsible to transfer, secure, and stage freight by operating forklifts andother equipment to load and unload trailers so that freight will arrive at finaldestination in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.

Ever think about all the things that could impact a shipment delivering on time?(Weather, traffic, engine troubles, pretty much ANYTHING). This career ishelping to keep freight moving.

Must be forklift certified or have 3 years of direct forklift experience.Prepare of all loads for shipping by following all DOT, OSHA, and companysafety guidelines to protect the load, public, equipment, and property at alltimes.Looks up shipping instructions in computer system.Assists with loading/unloading, covering, and securement of loads as needed.Conducts required safety inspection checks daily.

"What does it take to be successful?"

High School Diploma or Equivalent.Forklift certified or become certified within 90 days of employment.Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task and work independently.Must be a team player, amenable to a variety of work projects.Good decision-making, problem-solving, attention to detail and customerservice skills (internal/external).
