JGMS Government Services is seeking a

Principal Structural Design Engineer

Location: Greenville, SC or Houston, TX*

Status: Exempt / Full-Time / On-site

Salary Range: $122K - $142K depending on qualifications

• This position can by performed in Greenville, SC, Aiken, SC, Houston, TX, or Aliso Viejo, CA.

Preference is services to be performed in the Greenville and Houston offices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical direction to assigned engineers
• Conduct construction document reviews as required
• Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects
• Prepare and review of calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design
• Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities is required
• Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and minimum fifteen (15) years of work-related experience
• US citizenship is required
• Working knowledge of applicable federal (including Department of Energy orders), state, and local codes and standards
• Professional Engineer license preferred but not required

Background Check and Screenings
