Drafter

We seek an onsite CAD Drafter who can add value to the organization and mesh with their dynamic, creative, and hardworking New Business team. To be successful, you must be able to work independently guided by a team of project managers, estimators, other engineers, have the ability to change pace and tasks based on current needs, and take ownership of your work advocating for your customer and the company product. Millwork/Cabinet/Construction industry experience a huge plus!!! Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed shop approval drawings for various fixtures including wall displays, bar tops, cabinets, trim, etc. Preparation of material orders (BOM) as required. Adhere to industry and company CAD standards, have a growth mindset to share best practices. Organize and maintain AutoCAD files, collaborate with team members on organizational methods for team consistency. Source materials as requested Interact with account managers, designers, architects, and other customer agents as required to complete design and drawing work. Participate with fellow drafters in the CAD reviewal process. Perform field measurements or site visits meeting with customers as needed. Work closely with production staff to update drawings based on their recommendations surrounding build methodology
