Electro-Mechanical Technician : $24 to $28 per hour: St, Michael, MN**
**Job Description**
The primary function of the Electro-Mechanical Technician is to perform mechanical assembly, installation, and wiring of components on a wide variety of equipment designed and built. The role involves building, tapping, and drilling in control panels, and wiring each panel onto the piping systems, all based on schematics and blueprints. Additionally, the technician will run conduit. This is a job project shop, not a production line, where each week and month presents new challenges and tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform mechanical assembly, installation, and wiring of components.
+ Build, tap, and drill in control panels.
+ Wire panels onto piping systems based on schematics and blueprints.
+ Run conduit and ensure proper installation.
+ Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ Engage in PLC troubleshooting and machine building.
+ Participate in field service activities with up to 25% travel required.
**Essential Skills**
+ Electrical troubleshooting and repair
+ Mechanical assembly and installation
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
+ Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and hand tools
+ Ability to perform PLC troubleshooting and machine building
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
+ Experience in installing mechanical components and piping
+ Ability to run conduit and follow electrical schematics
+ Exceptional work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work as part of a team
