Field Architects and Field Engineers

We are actively hiring Field Architects, Electrical Engineers, and Mechanical Engineers to join our team to assist us with building existing condition assessments/inspections in NYC Boroughs. Selected candidates will work as part of a team including Senior Architects, Associate Architects, Mechanical, and Electrical Inspectors to perform visual inspections of buildings for various school facilities in New York City Boroughs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Conducting a walk-through for visual condition inspections of major building systems (HVAC, MEP, fire alarm, CCTV, etc.), envelop, structure and foundations, representative interiors, common areas, exterior walls, windows, doors, walls, ceilings, floors, flat roofs, low-sloped roofs, building exteriors, pavement, etc..
Provide written and photographic documentation of site and building features and document observations to accurately describe their findings and enter the information into the provided capital planning database.

Experience/Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Architecture, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and or related field.
Minimum 5 years of prior experience
Prior experience in the field of inspections and or design of buildings / facilities and associated building systems.
Prior BCAS (Building Condition Assessment) projects experience is a huge plus.
RA license is not required but highly preferred
Experience with NYS & NYC Building Codes and Regulations
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
