The following list of job tasks and machine tools and equipment used is intended to be a representative example of the classification and may not include all the functions of the classification.
JOB TASK LIST
Production welding with ability to operate MIG gun welders, use flux-core wire, high tensile wire, and aluminum wire.
Operate weld fixtures.
Manual finish weld.
Read drawings and build special forms and/or equipment from mech. drawings.
Build specials, standard and SWL weldments without a fixture using laser etched lines or tab and slotted.
Use and read measuring tape accurately to 1/64.
Operate material handling equipment.
Accurately report labor on work order and Kronos
Perform quality audit processes.
Other tasks as directed by supervisor.
Clean work area daily
Perform routine maintenance.
Repair forms
Adhere to all company safety and environmental policies, procedures, preferred work methods, and actively participate in safety training and initiatives
