Senior Structural Estimator Responsibilities

Lead and schedule a team of estimators; provide mentorship and development support

Review and approve estimates and proposals, ensuring accuracy and consistency

Assign subject matter champion roles to team members for specific projects or disciplines

Assist with schedules, pricing strategies, and proposal narratives as needed

Serve as sales lead or client point of contact on key pursuits

Take responsibility for final estimates sent within defined approval thresholds

Senior Structural Estimator Qualifications

5+ years of structural steel estimating experience; leadership experience preferred

Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, detailing, erection, and project workflows

Prior experience reviewing and finalizing technical proposals and pricing

Project management experience in structural steel is a plus
