As a Lumber Yard Estimator & Salesperson, you will be responsible for accurately estimating lumber and building material quantities, providing competitive pricing, and building strong relationships with our customers. You will also be responsible for assisting customers with their material needs, ensuring a positive and efficient sales experience. Remote work schedule available. Responsibilities: Estimating: o Review and analyze construction plans and specifications to accurately determine material quantities. o Create detailed material take-offs and cost estimates. o Provide accurate and competitive pricing to customers. Sales: o Assist customers with selecting the appropriate materials for their projects. o Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers. o Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries. o Process sales orders and ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. General: o Maintain a clean and organized work environment. o Assist with inventory management and material handling. o Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in the construction industry or lumber yard environment preferred. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Proficiency in using estimating software and computer systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license.
