Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-driven Structural Engineer to join our Milwaukee-based team. This role is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about designing safe, efficient, and innovative structural systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. Youll collaborate with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design structural systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings
• Perform structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard software
• Prepare construction documents including drawings, specifications, and reports
• Review shop drawings and submittals, and provide construction administration support
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and code compliance
• Stay current with local, state, and national building codes and engineering standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Masters preferred)
• 25 years of structural design experience in a consulting or construction environment
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, RAM, ETABS, SAP2000)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• EIT certification required; PE license or ability to obtain is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
