- Drive and oversee subcontractor performance.
- Lead subcontractor and internal crews in building distribution systems.
- Ensure overall production and quality of the job and the crew.
- Manage a team of upwards of 25 people at a time.
- Ensure construction subcontractors execute work according to safety, quality, reporting, contract, standards, change management, risk management, and schedule requirements.
- Facilitate proper communication with the project team and stakeholders.
- Conduct standardized reporting and appropriate construction meetings.
- Substation Construction Management expertise.
- Distribution Construction Management experience.
- Proficiency in electrical distribution and power delivery.
- Experience in construction document management and QA/QC.
- Entergy project experience is a plus.
- Knowledge in transmission, safety, electrical, and project management construction.
- Strong computer and reporting skills.
The work schedule includes 10-hour workdays for 5 days, with 7 days of per diem. Future project work is a viable option due to the company's growing footprint within Entergy and other utilities. Holidays and PTO are offered. The project will last for a year, primarily in the field, coordinating the work of subcontractor crews, with hours generally exceeding 50 per week.
