A South East based commercial builder is in search of a Senior Project Manager to be based in Elizabeth City, NC area and lead a small, satellite construction office for the company.

This company has experienced successful growth for decades and builds sizable projects with local state/federal, hospitality, healthcare, office buildings, higher ed, k-12 industrial markets. They are expanding into the northeast quadrant of NC and would like an experienced, dependable leader in the region. They have a significant backlog of projects and more in preconstruction. Relocation assistance is available.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction
• Experience managing teams and projects of at least $15 million
• Prior experience managing operations department
• Ability to form strong relationships with subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Suite, CMiC, Procore and other construction related software
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field is preferred
• Availability to travel the region
