As a member of the Direct Air Capture (DAC) Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the 1,000 ton per year CO2 capture New Product Introduction (NPI) program. Your responsibilities will encompass the development of a detailed engineering schedule for the NPI program, detailed project schedule for the first customer project including engineering drawing and BOM release dates, sourcing PO negotiation and placement, and logistics delivery to site. The coordination between these schedules and the associated deliverables is critical to the success of the DAC business. This role will also involve work to review customer project requirements and establish application engineering as well as technical proposal content to meet customer needs.

Job Description

What you'll do

  • Develop and own project engineering for Direct Air Capture projects including building scope of work and schedule for the first NPI program and customer projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and interface with proposal management, cost estimating, EPC partners, GEV product engineering, sourcing, and engineering contractors.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate discrete handoffs between design engineering, sourcing, procurement, EPC, logistics, customs, sourcing quality and other cross-functional groups on concrete tasks.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track drawing releases, BOM readiness, procurement need-by dates, PO execution status, documentation delivery, and qualification status, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure all project activities are aligned with the overall project objectives and timelines, addressing any deviations as necessary.
  • Risk Management: Own risk register, risk run-down tracking and mitigation plan oversight.

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in project engineering for power generation, heavy industrial, chemical process, or similar industry

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $111,200 - $185,400 USD Annual

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This Senior Professional Band position is also eligible for a variable incentive bonus of 15%.

  • The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
