HVAC TechnicianA local general contracting company in the Flathead Valley, dedicated to building the Montana dream, is seeking an HVAC Technician. Combining old-fashioned, impeccable craftsmanship and ethics with innovative design, they bring experience and integrity to every project - from conceptual planning and blueprint execution to reality.The HVAC Technician will install retrofit and repair environmental control systems, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, pipe fitting and structural layouts. Candidates must have an associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning OR three to five years related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience) for consideration.Why You Want This Position:Exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing builder in the Flathead area; they have an established foundation with exciting growth potentialCompetitive Pay: $30 to $40/hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Health Benefits package for qualifying employeesA collaborative and supportive work environmentEssential Functions and Duties:Servicing all HVAC products and equipment up to approximately 200 tons (including all ancillary equipment) on assigned projectsIdentify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customers locationsPerform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement and modifications as needed or requested by customersPrepare for on-site installation and repairs; examine building layouts, anticipate difficulties, gather materials and coordinate on-site work as necessaryProvide sales leads to Supervisor or Service ManagerQualifications:3- 5 years related experience and/or training in HVACUniversal Technician Certification required EPA Certification - preferredValid driver's licenseReliable, positive attitude, and ability to ensure customer satisfactionEffective problem solver40758
