Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Project Manager to join the Lighting Sector Kenall Team in Kenosha, WI. The Inside Sales Project Manager plays a critical role in managing lighting projects from initial inquiry through final delivery for OEM and our agents. This position combines technical sales support, customer service, and project coordination to ensure a seamless experience for OEM customers and agents. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of lighting systems, excellent communication skills, and a passion for selling lighting solution for large projects.
What Will You Do?
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and sales representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage multiple lighting projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and specifications are met.
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, submittals, and order acknowledgments.
- Coordinate with internal departments including engineering, purchasing, and logistics to ensure project requirements are fulfilled.
- Track project milestones and proactively communicate updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Resolve issues related to product availability, lead times, and technical specifications.
- Support the outside sales team with technical documentation and customer communications.
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in inside sales, project management, or customer servicepreferably in the lighting, electrical, or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of lighting products, specifications, and applications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP software, and project management tools.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and electrical drawings is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and customer-centric mindset.
- Desire to sell and grow the business.
