Power Technician / Journeyman Electrician- Pyote TX

Were hiring skilled Journeyman Electricians / Power Technicians to support round-the-clock

operations at our large-scale Bitcoin mining site in West Texas. You'll work in a containerized

industrial environment, focused on the electrical backbone of our facility: breakers, contactors,

PDUs, busbars, and power distribution panels.

This role is hands-on and field-based, with a consistent work schedule. We provide site-specific

training and all tools. If youre a reliable electrician with experience in handling air circuit

breakers, contactors, relays, transformers, ABB, Schneider, who wants long-term, stable

Responsibilities:

? Perform regular inspections and maintenance of:

? Breaker panels (480V/208V), contactors, PDUs, switchgear, and busbars

? Troubleshoot power faults, container outages, and electrical interruptions

? Execute basic electrical installations during container deployment or reconfiguration

? Identify and respond to breaker trips, phase loss, overheating, or equipment shutdowns

? Maintain proper labeling, panel organization, and safe work practices

? Follow site lockout/tagout, PPE, and electrical safety protocols

? Install and deploy new equipment, power cables, trays, conduits, switchgear, pumps,

fans

? Perform regular and preventative maintenance on transformers, switchgears, panels,

cabling and other electrical equipment

? Work closely with site Foreman and Controls Technicians to support facility uptime

? Complete simple shift logs/checklists as needed (training provided)

Requirements:

Minimum:

? Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License

? 2+ years of field electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or oilfield settings

? Familiar with 480V and 208V 3-phase systems

? Able to work outdoors in hot, dusty environments with minimal supervision

? Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

? Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks (walking, bending, lifting)

Preferred:

? Experience with power distribution equipment: PDUs, MCCs, busbars

? Familiarity with transformers, cable tray/conduit, HVAC and data center layouts

? Previous work in oil and gas, industrial construction, or container-based environments

? Forklift or skylift certification (or willingness to train)

Training Provided:

? Site-specific electrical layout and breaker panel orientation

? Container deployment procedures

? Routine checks and emergency response actions

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

? Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in heat or noise

? Container-based infrastructure with mostly outdoor and semi-enclosed areas

? Shift-based schedule (days/evenings/nights possible)

Compensation and Benefits:

? $32.00 - $42.00/hour based on experience
