We are looking for a Resident Project Representative/Construction Inspector to join us and execute planned projects located in Louisville, KY. The employee will work alongside our local team of professionals to perform the following tasks:
* Conduct field investigations, inspections, and onsite representation for property service connections to existing sewer systems.
* Design, observe, and document field and construction activities, with a focus on sewer pipeline infrastructure improvements.
* Facilitate communication among contractors, owners/clients, third-party stakeholders, and internal team members.
* Review existing as-built drawings and support the preparation of bid documents related to property service connections.
* Assist in managing the bidding process, including organizing and participating in bid walks.
* Maintain thorough and accurate daily reports and project documentation, including preparation of record drawings.
* Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills while excelling in a fast-paced consulting environment with multiple concurrent deadlines.
* Drive ownership of health & safety in all aspects of project execution, office, and personal environments.
* 3-5+ years of experience in field construction inspection or field construction.
* Experience using Microsoft products, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
* OSHA 10-Hour certification (course available for new hires).
Ideally, youll also have
* Engineering Degree or 3+ years of field construction inspection experience.
* Direct experience with sewer installation / trenchless rehabilitation projects.
* Experience with using GIS and/or CAD software (preferred, not required.
