Commercial Pipe Welder Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Commercial Pipe Welder with a current 6G welding certification and preferred X-ray welding certification to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience welding high-pressure piping systems in commercial or industrial environments and must be capable of producing quality welds in all positions. Responsibilities Perform pipe welding using SMAW, GTAW, and/or GMAW processes in 6G position. Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys according to project specifications. Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols. Conduct welds that meet or exceed X-ray inspection standards. Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Fit, tack, and weld pipe components with precision and minimal supervision. Collaborate with pipefitters, foremen, and inspectors to ensure quality and compliance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards. Complete daily reports and documentation as required. Essential Skills 6G welding certification. Experience with high-pressure piping systems. Proficiency in SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding processes. Ability to interpret blueprints and welding symbols. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
