Job Description We are seeking a skilled Survey Technician with a strong background in construction survey projects. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience and must be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient surveying services by working closely with Survey Project Managers and other team members. Responsibilities
- Post process and analyze survey data.
- Prepare stakeout sketches, point files, and DXF files for all construction stakeout needs.
- Output accurate and professional As-Built Drawings.
- Perform accurate volume calculations as needed.
- Prepare accurate cut-sheets and sketches for a variety of field tasks.
- Organize DWG files utilizing Dynamic Blocks, Layers, and Colors.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- 2-3 years of experience in construction survey projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Clear understanding of survey points, point groups, .CSV's, coordinate systems, and the ability to calculate pipe slopes.
- Experience with drafting, topographic surveys, and stakeout.
- Proficient in software and systems such as Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Dropbox, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with 'Agtek Earthwork 3D' for surface creation and earthwork calculations is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand civil, structural, and architectural plans and specifications.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
