1st Shift Maintenance/Electrician

Position: Maintenance Electrician Job Summary The Maintenance Electrician for Alleguard will perform technical work, maintenance, modification, service and repair of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures, and related electro-mechanical systems. Pay: $26- $28 USD/hr (Based on experience) Responsibilities Repair, install, align, dismantle, and move equipment / production lines. Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts. Perform equipment change-over and production line set ups. Generate and complete work orders as assigned. Ability to respond to emergency maintenance situations. Follows and ensures all H&S processes are followed daily. Other duties as assigned by management. Maintain high standards for housekeeping and cleanliness of the maintenance shop. Participate in the implementation of various improvement projects. Trouble shoot and repair problems on machines and equipment. Works closely with the Maintenance Manager to complete preventative and predictive maintenance. Keeps updated records of work performed. Optimize equipment safety and reliability including the support of preventative maintenance initiatives. Qualifications Ability to work weekends if required. Previous experience in a similar role. 5-10 years of experience in Industrial Electrical Maintenance. Ability to work professionally under pressure and meet deadlines. Basic Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills is an asset. Good Analytical and attention to detail skills. Excellent Communication skills. Intermediate computer skills. Strong electrical troubleshooting skills. Proactive and self-motivated. Ability to plan jobs and see all potential problem areas. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams. Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to multi-task. Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code. Ability to run conduit, pull wires and wires in electrical components. Physical Demands Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity. Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
