Field Service Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician who is hardworking, self-starting, and reliable, with excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate should possess great hand dexterity, a keen eye for quality, and attention to detail. The role involves working independently while adhering to health and safety standards to ensure effective installation and manufacture of Oil Containment Liner Systems according to documented guidelines.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and understand project drawings to supervise and perform installation of Oil Containment Liners and accessories.
+ Utilize hand and power tools such as hammers, tape measures, utility knives, framing square, hand rollers, heat gun, and edging tools to perform tasks.
+ Work with various materials including vinyl, foam, aluminum, steel, and polymer.
+ Complete inspections and conduct necessary repairs.
+ Communicate project progress, site conditions, and equipment issues to the Site Services Coordinator.
+ Ensure compliance with written installation guidelines.
+ Submit timesheets, expenses, and additional site installation reports in a timely manner.
**Essential Skills**
+ Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
+ Assembly and service skills.
+ Proficiency with hand tools.
+ Construction and general labor experience.
+ Repair skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Background in construction with experience in flat roofing liner installation or HVAC.
+ Positive attitude and willingness to grow within the company.
+ Ability to diligently follow safe work practices.
+ Capability to work overtime as needed.
+ Skill in following verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
+ Thorough knowledge of commercial construction techniques including plumbing.
+ Willingness to travel and stay overnight, away from home 100% of the time.
