**Your Opportunity**

Stantec is seeking a Senior Program Scheduler with extensive experience in managing cost in Primavera P6. This leadership role requires overseeing complex, multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Senior Program Scheduler will lead the coordination of works/interfaces with multiple contractors and third parties, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Emphasis is placed on the candidate's ability to manage costs effectively within Primavera P6.

**Your Key Responsibilities**

* Background in performing new P6 implementations, including development of Enterprise Breakdown Structure (EPS), Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS), and Resource Breakdown Structure (RBS), as well as managing user profiles and user security.

* Experience with developing schedule management practices including procedures, job aids, data dictionaries, reports, and templates for the program.

* Develop and maintain the Program Schedule, including fully integrated Baseline schedules, in Primavera P6 in coordination with the program team.

* Validate construction methodologies, resource and cost loading, activity durations, schedule logic, float allocation, and critical path identification.

* Analyze and evaluate construction CPM schedules submitted by contractors to ensure they capture contract milestones, predict completion dates, and conform to plans and specifications.

* Define and optimize critical paths, perform total float analysis, correlate schedule, cost, and risk assessments, and periodically report the project management status of critical activities and schedule risks.

* Participate in the development of recovery plans and contingency planning. Conduct schedule compression techniques. Support monitoring of contract actual progress versus planned progress and key performance indicators. Provide exception reporting and recommend actions.

* Produce consolidated progress reports with bar charts, S-curves, and manpower histograms.

* Perform schedule risk analysis periodically or as required.

* Provide support on the development of program cost expenditure forecast curves (cash flow).

* Ensure project schedule activities are coded by the program work breakdown structure for cost/schedule integration and analysis.

* Prepare reports for the program team and management regarding project scheduling activities and attend program team and subcontractor meetings.

* Review planning processes from end to end, looking at the look-ahead schedules and developing more advanced and proactive solutions.

* Develop detailed plans and time-scaled charts and diagrams for new construction and renovation works.

* Perform major WBS restructuring and logic correction to the construction schedule for the project's critical path.

* Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and inputs from engineering, procurement, contractors, and operations to maintain the program schedule and provide technical support to contractors.

* Provide written comments on schedules, perform schedule analysis for contractor requests for adjustments and claims, and work with third-party schedulers to review design and construction schedules.

* Control and monitor any variations or changes to the program scope of work.

* Provide recommendations for corrective actions due to delays in certain aspects of the program.

**Education and Experience**

* Post-secondary education or university engineering degree (preferred).

* Expertise in construction project planning across large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects, with a solid understanding of program management principles.

* Minimum 10 years of work experience in a similar position.

* Extensive experience managing cost in Primavera P6.

* Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management Institute Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) is highly desired.

* Relevant experience in Capital Infrastructure Programs (preferred).

* Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

* Excellent time management skills.

* Proactive, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in planning techniques.

* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with clients, program team, contractors, subcontractors, and staff at all levels.

**Pay Range:**

* Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 98,900.00 - Max Salary $ 148,300.00

**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
