What Were Looking For:

2+ years previous Installation Management experience
5+ years Flooring Installation experience in all floors covering categories including carpet, tile and hard surfaces
Working knowledge of Q-Floors is a plus but not necessary. Will train the right individual.
Proven ability to lead/oversee and manage 8-10 projects at one time
Experience establishing contacts and relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
Proven ability to build, lead, motivate and maintain high performing teams
Ability to read blueprints, perform Take-Offs; read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, prepare proposals, scopes of work and project schedules
Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and prioritize scheduling with customers, in-house installers and subcontractors
An individual that is dedicated, responsible, knowledgeable, a leader and a motivator

What Youll Do:
The Installation Manager will drive client satisfaction through high quality installations, superior communication, and tenacious follow through. They will also identify areas of improvement to increase quality of the Installation Experience for our customers. Experience in both high volume and high-quality flooring installations of all floor covering types is required.
Manages all aspects of installation department including training, managing and leading installers; recognizing strengths and weaknesses; improve their skills and abilities
Complete job site drawings, measurements, audit Job ticket requirements, and Sales Team interface for orders
Coordinates the scheduling of jobs between customers and installation crews and manages each installation project from start to finish
Manages work order creation and initial material load out to ensure accuracy, crew deployment and arrival, installation completion, final balance collection, and signed certificates of completion.
Interacts with customers before, during, and after installation to ensure proper compliance with company communication requirements
Collect/Process Payments for some installation jobs, i.e., Balance owed after deposit was applied for material orders, next payment to start installation activities or pay for change order charges.
Communicates management directives such as installation material standards and methods as well as relationship management with Installation Crews
Follows up on customer satisfaction or claim issues and drives resolution striving for 100% customer satisfaction
Job Cost completed work orders and change orders to ensure timely payment of installers
Accountable for building and maintaining a high performing, experienced Installing team focused on quality and effectiveness
Constantly stays up to date with new product lines, installation guidelines, care and warranty
Maintain a professional, ethical, and positive disposition as a primary representative of the company in the community
Qualified candidates may have past experience as a: Flooring Store, Carpet Store, Retail Floor Covering, Commercial Flooring, Design & Build
