Civil Cad Technician

We are seeking a skilled Civil CAD Technician to join our team in Bowling Green, KY. The ideal candidate will work closely with Civil Project Engineers and Project Managers, focusing on drafting and design activities for water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Civil Project Engineers and Project Managers on drafting and design activities related to water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Prepare construction drawings for water and wastewater projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Assist with quantity take-offs and GIS figure development.
• Prepare report figures for various projects.
• Support additional engineering and design needs as they arise.

• Professional experience in Civil Drafting (3+ years).
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD with over 3 years of experience.
• Experience in site development, stormwater, drainage, wastewater treatment, water treatment, and civil design.

• Experience in land survey, site development, road, highway, transportation, and water resources.
• Ability to create, edit, view, and analyze surfaces, alignments, sites, profiles, and cross-sections.
• Experience in creating grading solutions and gravity-fed and pressure pipe networks.
• Utilize plan production tools to create plan and profile sheets.

The office environment is relaxed yet deadline-driven. You will be the sole drafter/designer in the Bowling Green office, providing support to both the local office and Indiana offices as needed. Standard work hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with an average workweek of 40-45 hours. The position offers the flexibility to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $41.50/hr.
