Welder and Fabricator**
**Job Description**
As a Welder and Fabricator, you will be responsible for laying out, positioning, and securing parts and assemblies according to specifications. You will determine the required equipment, welding method, and techniques to be used, and develop templates and other work aids to hold and align parts effectively. Your role will involve igniting the torch, adjusting valves, amperage, or voltage to achieve the desired flame or arc, and welding components in various positions including flat, vertical, or overhead. Additionally, you will remove rough spots using portable grinders and inspect grooves, angles, or gap allowances using precision measuring instruments. You will follow blueprints to arrange pieces and temporarily fix them into position before welding, while making recommendations for process improvements. Equipment inspections prior to use and reporting malfunctions or safety concerns are essential to meeting safety and quality goals. You will work with a team to balance workload and meet On Time Delivery goals, manage company resources to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction, and perform additional tasks as directed.

+ Follow blueprints to arrange pieces and temporarily fix them into position before welding.
+ Make recommendations for process improvements.
+ Perform equipment inspections prior to use, and report any malfunctions or safety concern.
+ Work accordingly to meet Safety and Quality goals.
+ Work with team and balance workload to meet On Time Delivery goals.
+ Manage company resources to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
+ Grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture.
+ Work on additional equipment or tasks outside the job description as directed.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
