JOB REQUIREMENTS: Actively represent the company to customers, vendors,
work crews, etc. on issues concerning functionality and design.
Communicate with sales people, customers, and or vendors (when
appropriate) concerning project details; support sales team in project
management activities; solicit quotes from vendors as required. Travel
to project locations; take measurements to assist in project planning;
document the layout of property, the location of relevant structures,
equipment, and related; take notes and make hand sketches were
appropriate. Utilize AutoCAD as the primary design software to perform
applicable drafting work; prepare 2D and/or 3D site drawings from
information gathered during site visits, hand sketches, equipment
manufacturer specifications, verbal instruction, etc.; update drawings
as needed throughout all phases of the project. Review requirements and
project designs; make recommendations to best satisfy the customer\'s
requirements, while promoting installation/construction efficiency,
maintaining quality workmanship expectations, and reinforcing safety
standards. Create shop drawings for manufacture of standard or custom
parts when required. Participate in project cost reviews as directed.
Improve skills through training as directed. Maintain a clean, orderly,
and safe work area.NBSP; Perform all other duties as assigned.
\*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree or
equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum 2+
years or equivalent combination of education and experience as
determined by the Division Manager; competent to read and interpret
documents, manuals, drawings, procedures, or other instruction furnished
in written, oral, diagram or schedule form; can calculate simple math
with the use of design program, figures and amounts with ease; able to
apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry; solve practical problems
and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where
limited standardization exists; possesses reasonable written and oral
communication skills; generally adept in use of a computer, calculator,
and a variety of other general office equipment; comfortable reading a
tape measure and other measuring devices; proficient in AutoCAD,
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; maintains a valid driver\'s license.
