Fabrication Welder**
**Job Description**
As a Fabrication Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and drawings, taking or reading measurements to plan layout and procedures, and determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. You will also set up components for welding according to specifications, operate angle grinders, align components using calipers and rulers, and weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions. Additionally, you will repair machinery, test and inspect welded surfaces, maintain equipment safety, and perform other assigned duties.
**Responsibilities**
+ Interpret blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures.
+ Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
+ Set up components for welding according to specifications.
+ Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
+ Align components using calipers and rulers, and clamp pieces.
+ Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions.
+ Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
+ Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
+ Maintain equipment in a condition that ensures safety.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in fabrication and welding.
+ Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
+ Experience in inspection and using power tools.
+ 2+ years of welding experience.
+ 2+ years of experience with hand and power tools.
+ 1+ year of experience reading welding blueprints.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Capability to carry weights between 10-50 lbs frequently.
+ Ownership of personal welding equipment (gloves, face shield, MMA).
**Work Environment**
You will be working on the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 2 AM, Monday through Thursday. The environment requires wearing appropriate safety equipment and adhering to safety protocols.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
